When I was laid off from my job in October of 2015, I never thought I would find my passion in
the side job I took to make ends meet. I took a low paying transcription job and found that it fit
me perfectly! As I continued to work as a transcriptionist, I planned for the future of my own
business. I knew that I wanted to pay a fair wage and give people who typically fall through the
cracks a chance to work from home. I currently have multiple employees who range from single
dads, stay at home dads and moms, and a disabled, retired senior citizen; each working to help
support their families. I love that I'm able to give them the opportunity to work a very flexible schedule in an environment that doesn't require silence, like most work from home jobs do. I get to give people a chance to support their families when otherwise they wouldn't. And I also take pride in the fact that many of my employees are part of the LGBTQIA+ community. We have a pool of well
qualified transcriptionists to pull from for larger, more complex jobs.
